FETÖ Suspects Caught in Cross-Border Operation

Kırklareli İl Jandarma Komutanlığı units, in coordination with the Lüleburgaz Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı and the Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı Terörle Mücadele Daire Başkanlığı, conducted an operation against FETÖ terrorism. Six individuals suspected of being affiliated with the organization were caught while attempting to flee to Bulgaria using illegal routes.

Operation Details

The operation was carried out in coordination with the Lüleburgaz Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı and the Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı Terörle Mücadele Daire Başkanlığı. The suspects, who were trying to escape to Bulgaria, were caught by Kırklareli İl Jandarma Komutanlığı units.

Results of the Operation

Five of the suspects were taken into custody by the relevant judicial authorities, while one was placed under judicial control. This operation demonstrates the determination of Turkish law enforcement agencies to combat FETÖ terrorism and prevent its members from fleeing the country.
